Revoking Person Requirements

A requirement can be revoked for poor performance or to force retraining of a skill. A manager, with the appropriate rights, can revoke certification for a requirement using the Certification Information link in the Person record.

  1. From the Person record, click the Certification Information link.
  2. Check the checkboxes of the requirements to be revoked.
  3. Click Action > Revoke.
  4. Determine which parts of the certification to revoke and check the checkboxes at the top of the window:
  5. Revoke Trainee/Trainer Sign-off – Checking this checkbox means the trainee/trainer will need to redo the sign-off.
  6. Revoke Assessment – Checking this checkbox means the trainee is allowed to retake the failed assessment.
  7. Revoke Training – Checking this checkbox means the trainee will have to retake the training.

NOTE: The certification steps that are revoked reappear in the person's Things To Do List.

  1. Enter a Comment and the Revoked Date.
  2. Check the Revoke all Revisions checkbox, if applicable.
  3. Enter your user ID and password then click the Save button.
Result: The requirement has now been revoked from the person.
